I acquired this today:

PS1 "Debugging Station". It's not in great condition and I had to swap the power board & CD drive to get it working. Also it's a bit slow and doesn't work with my newer Verbatim CD-R's, but for £3 I can't complain. I'm fairly certain it's genuine due to the boot up screen and the fact that it plays CD-R's without a modchip.

Cool

You know, it looks weird, because I'm not expecting to be that colour when I look at the picture.
You know when the white balance is wrong on a camera and the picture has a blue tint? The first picture reminds me of that :P
A picture of it next to a standard grey one would be cool. Not that I don't believe you've got a blue Playstation :P But for a comparison.

A debugging station, do you reckon that's what game developers used when they were making games to test them? Must be pretty rare...

It is a bit weird. I remember always calling the PS1 the "greystation".

Indeed. They're worth quite a bit. People like them because they play CD-R's without a modchip. And well, they're blue.
