Post by Puni/Void » Sun May 22, 2011 10:11 am

Hi guys,

Here's a (not new) picture of my Amiga 1200 in action.

Image

The specifications are as follows:

Escom Amiga 1200
Apollo 68030 / 40mHz with 32MB RAM
40GB 2.5 HD
Micromys Mouse Adapter
Wireless PCMCIA Network Adapter
Indivision AGA

Connected to an LCD-screen.

Hope you like it. :)

Thanks. :) It's nice to be able to use new hardware for the 1200. The IndivisionAGA card inside the machine makes it possible to hook the computer up to modern LCD-screens. That's nice, as I don't have to have a separate screen for the PC.

Got this Amiga 500 lot for 10 quid:

So it's not an Amiga 1200 with a fancy setup, but it's the first Amiga I've owned so I could do with some advice on where to start

Well the floppy drive already stopped working, so I think I'm just going to look for a 1200.

Sorry to hear that the floppy drive broke down. Still, you got a lot for £10 I think - even Hired Guns was included! Have you tried looking for an Amiga 1200 at AmiBay? It's a great site for trading retro stuff. I've both bought and sold items there. The address is amibay.com.
