Perihelion
Edvard Toth, author of the Amiga role-playing game Perihelion, has been very kind to distribute the full version at his website. With the original publisher no longer existing, this is the closest thing to an official liberated release of the game.

The download comes with a preconfigured Windows emulator.

Tiger's Bane by Longbow Digital Arts.
Image
Tiger's Bane is a hybrid of the shoot-em-up and simulation genres, combining side scrolling action with realistic elements such as limited ammunition, accurate modelling of weapons and their effects, flight dynamics that take inertia and wind into consideration, and a wide array of real battlefield machinery to fly, destroy, and protect.

Somehow it doesn't seem to be widely known that the registered version of LineWars II is available as a free download from the website of its creator, Patrick Aalto:

Helherron, a classic style shareware RPG by Antti Kuukka, had been released as freeware in March 2006. The official website is down, but there's a functional archived copy where the latest, free version of the game (v2.04) is available:

Just found this really huge blog dedicated to liberated games:
http://juegosliberados.blogspot.com/

It's in either Spanish or Portuguese (can't tell because I'm not very familiar with both languages), but everything is pretty self-explanatory. The blog seems to feature quite a few really obscure games too.
